CITI Training Instructions

​Sign Up
1. Access the training website HERE
2. For organization affiliation, enter Dignity Health and select it from the drop down
3. You will be prompted to enter your personal information
4. You will receive a confirmation email and be prompted to register with a username and password. Note that the username does not need to be affiliated with your email account

Access Training
1. Once you sign in, you will be auto directed to courses page; click the blue View Courses button on the right hand side
2. Under “Courses Ready to Begin,” you will see the two required courses:
a. Good Clinical Practice Course for Clinical Trials Involving Drugs and Devices
b. Biomedical Research 

Complete Training
1. Complete each course with an 80% passing average; you can retake the quizzes as many times as you would like until reaching a passing average
2. When you successfully complete a training, there will be a downloadable certificate available – please use this file naming convention for the attachments:
a. Your Last Name, First Initial_ CITI Investigators
b. Your Last Name, First Initial_ CITI Biomedical
3. You are done! Finally, please set aside several hours to complete the training - it's not one you can zip through at the last minute.

Tips and tricks
If you can't access CITI and aren't on the Dignity network, check your VPN.
If you let your computer sleep mid module, you will lose your work.
If you leave a module open and move on to another tab for more than ~5 mins, you will lose your work.
